Deformed and cracked drawer boxes - Merillat's Spring Valley Drawers - Refuse to provide service
Our house is new built house, 2 and half years old. Recently we found that all drawer boxes were deformed, some even are cracked. Merillat's Spring Valley product line has warranty of 25 years. We contacted Merillat customer service, were told to send pictures, forms, and provide measurement of each drawer. After everything was sent, nothing happened for a few days. I sent an email to get update today, and were told that " defects are from misuse of the cabinetry. It looks as though the drawers have either been stood on or hung off of or left off the track and forced open". We keep asking them to send a people in to check the defective products. They said that they will have a sales rep contact me, but nobody called me at all. Now they made such conclusion. It seems that only way is to go to the court to straight it out.

Merillat cabinets has a policy not to accept returns or exchange product for items ordered in error Seems if you got what you ordered even if it was ordrerd by mistake their answer is go pound sand we are not exchanging it ordered cabinets in the wrong color and they will not exchange them still in original boxes unopened except for one which was opened and repacked They will sell you more cabinets but you have to eat the ones you don't want Feel like I'm being held hostage and blackmailed The company is owned by Amsco Corp.
